I have a Dell studio 1555 laptop with Office H & S installed. Every time I
launch an office application from the start menu, the installer starts up. I
created shortcuts directly to the apps. Ie Winword and it launches straight
away. If internet explorer calls for say powerpoint, the installer is
launched again. Can anyone help please.

Locate winword.exe, rt click, run as administrator, except any prompts. Does
that cure it?
