Default exporting problem

I am trying to export a report with the outputto function....
Here is the problem. - The report gets opened normally by passing an
openarg argument. I don't believe the outputto function allows for these
passing of variable options when trying to export a report. What can I do to
pass the variables in at the same time or before the export takes place.....
Report won't run - obviously - without the parameters I pass in normally....
????

Thanks,
Jason

If you open the report in preview on the screen, one has the option to right
click and export it, so there must be a way (I would think) to export it by
some command once has finished opening (processing) - then I could issue a
close command to close the report.... Any suggestions on either this
reasoning or my first one in my previous post ????? An answer to the first
post would be my most hopeful solution, but at this point - I would take any
solutions....

A simple solution is to make the variables global, BUT was wondering if
another way using openargs method....
