Default Problem with ppt in PP 2007

Hi
I have a PowerPoint presentation created in PowerPoint from Office XP
which I just opened in PP from Office 2007 and noticed a weird problem I
cannot solve.

In the example slide at

http://www.hold.orthohelp.com/Presentation1.pptx

there is a superimposed vertical line of text that was not in the
original. It does not appear in the slideshow but I cannot remove it.
What is it and how do I get rid of it?

Thanks, Jeff

Additional information:
It is not a font installation problem. Checking with the Replace Fonts
tool in PPT 2007 I see that all the fonts used are marked with the TT
icon. The printer is also installed. I'm in Windows 7 home premium 64 bit.

What the text says, is "Click to add file" It is a text place holder. If
you click on any item on the screen then hit the tab key to cycle through
all the objects, it will show up as a very small item towards the bottom
right of the slide. then it is just a matter of hitting delete.

It's the title placeholder that someone has shrunk to very tiny but the text
"Click to Add Title" is still visible in Edit mode

Change the layout to Blank and all will be fine

Thank you. Done.

Is there an option to disable it from appearing? It showed up in the
middle of a 50 slide presentation.

Thank you.

I am very familiar with PPT 2002, but am still learning my way around 2007.

If you don't want it, then delete it if you want it as a reminder, when you
working on the slide, just drag it off the face of the slide and it should
not appear during your slideshow.
