Inserting text in a basic shape
In PowerPoint 2007, I've drawn several basic shapes, then clicked the shapes
to add text; however, the text in several of the shapes is very strange...as though it's "outdented" on the first line or indented on the following lines. The lines are all out of alignment, and I've tried everything I can possibly think of but to no avail. Has anyone else experienced anything like this, and if so, do you know how to fix it? |

I know this will sound weird, but I suspect it's a printer driver issue.
Please humor me and try this exact printer driver installed in this exact way: http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00952.htm -- Echo [MS PPT MVP] http://www.echosvoice.com What's new in PPT 2007? http://www.echosvoice.com/2007.htm Fixing PowerPoint Annoyances http://tinyurl.com/36grcd PowerPoint 2007 Complete Makeover Kit http://tinyurl.com/32a7nx "Sazie" wrote in message news In PowerPoint 2007, I've drawn several basic shapes, then clicked the shapes to add text; however, the text in several of the shapes is very strange...as though it's "outdented" on the first line or indented on the following lines. As well as what Echo said, which is quite likely to be a problem, did you
check the first and subsequent line markers on the ruler (the grey arrows)? -- john ATSIGN PPTAlchemy.co.uk Free PPT Hints, Tips and Tutorials http://www.pptalchemy.co.uk/powerpoi...tutorials.html "Sazie" wrote: In PowerPoint 2007, I've drawn several basic shapes, then clicked the shapes to add text; however, the text in several of the shapes is very strange...as though it's "outdented" on the first line or indented on the following lines.
