Default Outlook 2007 will not open

Outlook 2007 has stopped opening fully. It opens to the blue screen does not
populate and then closes down completely. with an error message stating the
set of folders cannot be opened. I have attempted safe mode same response.
I have attempted repair through the uninstall process. I have rebooted and
and restored to a different date when it was all good. any suggestions?

I have a similar problem - my PST data file that I created in Outlook 2007
(in 2003 format) initially worked OK. After a couple of days I got the
cannot open error message and I can't open it.

I have a similar problem: When I open Outlook 2007 a message comes up "Can
not open..." and Outlook goes catatonic - no option but to close. I could
create a new profile, but will that lose all history? Can I keep the same
..pst file? (Actually another account on same PC.)

This can't be true. No message in Outlook says "Can not open...". You left
out part of the error message. Unless you post the message in its entirely,
no one can respond accurately.
