Default table header row format problem

I have created an table autoformat style to make it easier to format the
documents I work on. This style incorporates the following in the header
row:

Arial Narrow
Bold
10 point
center alignment
Text color: white
Row shade (RGB 0, 106, 78)

The rest of the table has:

Arial Narrow
Regular
10 point
left alignment
Text color: automatic
No shade

The problem I have is with the header row. Word will substitute the Arial
Narrow font with Tahoma or Wingdings. No other row is affected. This
problem is intermittent in nature and I cannot find any common precursors.

Has anyone run into a similar problem and if so, is there a solution?

Please help.

Unfortunately, table styles are unpredictable (see
http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/tablestyles/index.html). It will be a lot
safer to apply paragraph styles to format the text in table cells.

Note that you can format an example table the way you want it and then
create an AutoText entry for it. Then insert the AutoText each time you need
that particular table format.
