Default Truncated Y-axis Title

I am running Excel 2000 and Windows XP. When I generate a
scatter plot and attempt to re-format the y-axis title,
the active text box excludes some of the title strings at
the end of the text. In other words, it appears that the
text box resizing is failing. This problem appears when
the chart is displayed on the computer monitor however,
the printed graph appears to be fine. Any suggestions is
appreciated.

This is an intermittent problem which seems related to video drivers and
monitor settings. You could replace the normal axis title with a text
box. You could type a couple spaces and a period, and for the case in
which the title isn't cut off, format just the period to match the
background color. Or you could shrug your shoulders and say, at least it
prints okay.
