How to make and automate a column-'line' chart
Hi,
I need to make a chart that wil consist out of two series. The first one should be shown as a column, while the second as a line drawn on the given height just on the column. This column with the line represents one wave of measurement (see the attachment) This data is going to be collected in waves and of course the chart should be also updated. If it was a regular column chart I could use VBA to move the data columns to the left and update only the last wave. Unfortunately I can't find a chart type that will support such a illustration. The only solution I have found is to manually draw a horizontal line on the proper column. Of course this solution could not be accepted as it is difficult to be automated. What would you suggest?
