Default Unable to completely remove Address Books

I used to have several contact folders. They we Contacts, Mailer,
Prospects, and Clients. I deleted Prospects and Clients. Now, when I create a
new email, then click on the To: button, I get a message telling me, "The
address list could not be displayed. . . ," and directing me to Outlook Help.
Outlook Help told me to click on the Tools menu, then E-mail accounts, then
"View or change existing address books. . . " I followed the rest of the
directions, and deleted Prospects and Clients entries, then closed and
rebooted Outlook 2003. I still get the message about the address not being
displayed. I am still able to click "Ok," then select the Contacts address
book in the "Show Names in the. . . " drop down list in the Select Names pick
list.

What can I do to stop getting, "The address list could not be displayed. . .
" message?

Thanks for your help.

Try opening the Address book and clicking on it's tools, options menu - are
the two deleted lists listed? if so remove them.
