Default Selling a show - adding a serial number?

I have created my 2007 PPT show, got it to work in 2003, used "Publish -
package for CD" to get the PPS file onto a flash drive. Whew. Now, time to
sell it and watch the money roll in (fingers crossed, anyway). What I want
to do is to provide a serial number for a License. So I could make a unique
password for every show I sell, but what if someone gets 2 licenses?
Requiring a serial number to activate a program seems to be quite prevalent,
but I can't find information about HOW to do this. I would appreciate any
recommendations.

I should also say that I would be just as happy with setting up something
that makes it appear as there there is some sort of check occurring.
