Default Reminders Appears to be Back-Asswards

Hi Gang,

I finally was able to create some test reminders after getting the reminder
service to start (Grrrr) and was wonder, is it just me or does the
functionality of the reminders seem to be back-asswards???

Scenario: Birthday - 9/30/05
Reminder Period: 1 Week

Reminders is not reminding me PRIOR to the fire date, which should be
happening NOW, why not?

It only reminds me of events that have just happened or have already
happened for the set Reminder # of Hours/Days/Weeks.

Isn't the purpose of a reminder to remind you to do something BEFORE a date,
not on it or for some time AFTER it? If that's the case, why bother?

Oh!, I'm so sorry I forgot your birthday. I had a reminder setup in MS
Outlook, but it didn't remind me until it was ALREADY your birthday. I'll
set a reminder to get you a belated gift, but that will be late too...

"Roll me one up, cause it must be good!"
