Create New Document from Template
In Word 2003, I want to add a button to the toolbar to create a new document
based on a custom template, and I understand I'll need a macro first to assign to the button. So I tried to use the macro recorder for this simple task, but when I run the macro, it just opens the "File, New" dialog box. Any ideas on what I am missing here? Thanks, Ross Payne |

Create New Document from Template
When you recorded the macro, did you actually create the new document?
There are a number of ways to get new documents from templates. Most require vba but not all.
