Office 2003 Resource Kit VS Outlook Reading Pane
I am currently doing some testing in order to deploy
Microsoft Office 2003 Professional. I first installed an O2K3 client on WinXP and configured it the way I want it on all of our workstations. Then, I took a snapshot of the installation with the profile wizard in order to keep all the settings and apply them in an O2K3 package. Everything worked fine in all of the Office applications we use, except for Outlook, where only one setting wasn't kept. I'm talking about that damned reading Pane, which I can't get to be at the bottom by default after the installation. Did someone ever get a similar issue? How can I get it to keep that setting? Many thanks! Jeff Courteau |

Office 2003 Resource Kit VS Outlook Reading Pane
I rather like the reading pane at the right. No scrolling for the most part
and I get my work done a lot faster. However, to your point. I believe there is a configuration option in the Custom Instalation Wizard where you can set Outlook options. HAve you tried using the Office Resource Kit to build your custom installation? -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact.
