Default Changing the default template for the "new" icon

Hi,

I'm using PPT 2000 and when I click on the "new" icon, the leftmost
one, I get a new empty file based on one template.

I'd like to choose another template as the default one. How can I
accomplish this?

You can save a new "blank" template.
