All of the video clips I used in PowerPoint that had the DV codec don't work
anymore. What did I do? Can I make a simple change or do I have to go in and
re-do them all with a different codec.

I just had the same problem after a long time of it working...I must have
changed the codecs. A simple solution is to put your video in the slide, even
though it won't play. then create a text box for the name of the video. right
click and choose "hyperlink"
Now just link to the folder with the video...
It is stupid one has to do it this way but it works.
