Default Contact name and email is incorrect

Hi All,

I would lke to seek some help for the following. I'm running Windows Vista
business premium with Outlook 2007.

Outlook is running POP. Recently I encountered some issues accessing
Calender and had to recreate a new pst file. Outlook is working fine after
that but i noticed that my contacts are corrupted.

e.g

Display name: John Perry
Email:

I search MS forum and found some articles related to IMAP issues but it does
not seem to fit into my scenerio.

Any help / suggestions will be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Which kind of corruption do you mean?

Also, if you created a new pst-file, how did you create your new contacts?

Hi Roady,

Somehow i was unable to open my Calender using the old.pst i had to create a
new.pst setting it as my default and closing the previous one i had before i
can access my Calender.

After that i managed to open up old.pst in Outlook and copied all the
contacts over to new.pst The copying process was successful. However it was
only after a couple of hours before i discovered that the contacts are all
messed up.

Let me know if you require more info.

Thank you.

Matt
