vlookup and if
Hi,
I want to put in a formula which says if the VLOOKUP returns a value then put it in, but if it returns #N/A then put "CLOSED" instead. Is this possible? I'm sure I've done this before. Thanks Natalie |

vlookup and if
Probably not in Access, since VLookup is an Excel function.
In Access you would accomplish this using an expression like: NZ(DLookup("FieldName","TableOrQueryName","optiona l_criteria_string"),"Closed") John Spencer Access MVP 2002-2005, 2007-2009 The Hilltop Institute University of Maryland Baltimore County Natalie wrote: Hi, I want to put in a formula which says if the VLOOKUP returns a value then put it in, but if it returns #N/A then put "CLOSED" instead.
