Default Xp Office Continual Install

I have a school lab, new computers, and Office XP pro service pack 2
installed. All works fine as admin. However, students are Power Users and
whenever they open any Office ap, they get a dialog box that informs them to:
"Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office XP Professional"

It happens every time whether they open a new doc or an existing doc, and at
times, the dialog box comes up multiple times during the session.

I changed a student account to admin hoping that whatever needed to be
installed would be able to, but the problem stopped as admin; then when
changed back to Power User, the problem continued.

I also updated Office to service pack 3, but no change.

Any help with this problem is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
bac
