If you don't care who gets a copy, you may want to put it in:
www.savefile.com the file will disappear 30 days after the last download. kassie wrote: I need your e mail address to be able to assist you! -- Hth Kassie Kasselman "audrey" wrote: can you please send me a copy pls thanks audrey -- audy "kassie" wrote: If you want it, I can send it to you! Dave, Thanks for posting that. I took a look at them and may be able to use the service. Do you know how long they have been offering the service and have you used it? I do not mind helping others who can use it. Prefer to do it on a one on one
basis though. Guess that's just me! Old, cantakerous, stuck in my ways, but hey, always glad to help. Thanks for the suggestion though! -- Hth Kassie Kasselman "Dave Peterson" wrote: If you don't care who gets a copy, you may want to put it in: www.savefile.com the file will disappear 30 days after the last download. kassie wrote: I need your e mail address to be able to assist you! -- Hth Kassie Kasselman "audrey" wrote: can you please send me a copy pls thanks audrey -- audy "kassie" wrote: If you want it, I can send it to you! I think I saw Biff (maybe???) use it a few months ago. I've used it for
non-excel files since then. At one time (a couple of days), the site had trouble retrieving files, but that was just a one time thing. If you have files that need to be more secure, www.xDrive.com (now owned by AOL) offers a free service. You can share files with specific parties (who are registered with AOL/xDrive (also free now)). And it could have been Max from Singapore--I don't remember who, I just remember
that I stole it from someone. Jim Cone wrote: Dave, Thanks again, I will check it out. Jim Cone "Dave Peterson" wrote in message I think I saw Biff (maybe???) use it a few months ago. Did somebody call ?? g Yes, I've used savefile.com regularly for more
than a year now. The site's ok, albeit it had quite a hiccup a couple of months back -- during a change of servers -- where all my archived files and stats were unfortunately wiped out. Things seem to have stabilized since though, and I'm still using it for my archives. -- Max Singapore http://savefile.com/projects/236895 xdemechanik --- "Dave Peterson" wrote in message ... I attributed my "discovery" to Biff instead of you.
(My discovery was to read one of your posts!) (But it (my memory) came back after a little bit--it was a painful process, though.) ps. You may want to look at xdrive.com for your personal backups.
