Default Duplicate Entries: Determining If Any ?

Hello,

Using Excel 2007.

Is it possible to select a column, and have Excel highlight, or tell,
if there are any duplicate entries in that column ?

Thanks,
Bob

Default Duplicate Entries: Determining If Any ?

EXCEL 2007

Take the following actions:-

1. Highlight the range of cells that you wish to target.

For example A 3 to A 21 inclusive.

2. Home / Styles group / Conditional Formatting / New Rule

New Formatting Rule pane should launch.

3. Click on:-

Format only unique or duplicate values

4. Make sure that the:-

Format all:

- box is set to:-

duplicate

5. Click on:-

Format . . .

Fill tab

- and select a colour of your choice.

OK

OK again (back in the New Formatting Rule pane).

6. Now any duplicates will be highlighted in the colour that you chose at
number 5 above.

If my comments have helped please hit Yes.
