You should be backing up your database file nightly already. If not, dont' come crying to me when you lose it.

How do I backup, copy or transfer data
Backing up your database can be a simple as ...
1. Copying the MDB file from the hard drive to a diskette on a daily basis 2. If too large for a diskette, copying the database from your local hard drive to a network drive 3. Copying the MDB file from your hard drive to a CD-ROM using appropriate CD creation software All users must be *out* of the database when any copying is done. -- Cheryl Fischer, MVP Microsoft Access Law/Sys Associates, Houston, TX "Qal" wrote in message ... How do I backup, copy or transfer data
Hi Cheryl,
Thanks for your advice. Can you tell me where exactly I can find the MDB files/folder to copy. Can you also tell me if I can restore them by simply drag and drop them again in the same folder of Access in another computer, so I have the same data somewhere else. Thanks again. -----Original Message----- Backing up your database can be a simple as ... 1. Copying the MDB file from the hard drive to a diskette on a daily basis 2.
