Default Data Labels- POssible to show data value and data label together?

Hi,

I would like to show both the data label and the data value at the same time
on a number of data points on a graph- however Excel (2000) only seems to let
me select one or the other- does anyone know if it is possible to show both?

Any help gratefully appreciated!

Excel 2002 introduced the built-in ability to combine data in data labels.

However, if you aren't using 2002 or later, or if you have more intricate
requirements, you can still get customized labels. In a range of the
worksheet, use formulas to construct the labels you want from the data. Then
use one of these free Excel tools to add these labels to the chart:

Rob Bovey's Chart Labeler, http://appspro.com/Utilities/ChartLabeler.htm
John Walkenbach's Chart Tools,
