Automatic Emailing of reports - Can do it but where from?
I currently have a system which emails reports throughout the day and night.
I have used this system in conunction with scheduled tasks, with great success, on an unused XP machine using ClickYes & currently on an unused Windows 98 machine, where I just leave Outlook open. My problem is that the 98 machine is needed by the client for another use. There are no other spare machines & Access isn't installed on the Server. I had an exchange profile setup in the name of SystemReports which looks more professional than a users name & I can't guarantee that a user's pc will be on and logged in when the reports need to be sent. How are others emailing auto emailing reports using scheduled tasks? Any recommendations? Thanks in advance |
