Default Automatic 'out of the office' message

How can I configure Outlook, or Outlook Express, to
automatically reply to emails when I am out of the office?

Does Outlook provide that option, or only Outlook Express?

Thank you very much!

Outlook will provide that option Only when connected to an Exchange Server,
you can emulate it to some degree by using the Rules Wizard, check out

I wouldn't do that if I were you unless, of course, you want to tell all the
spammers that your email is a valid one.

Good point, Alias. I will have to think about that.

Thank you,

Ana

Thank you Robert.

I have also found this info:

"The Internet Mail Only installation option (IMO) of
Outlook, unlike the Corporate or Workgroup option, does
not have the Out of Office Assistant to automatically
reply to messages when you are away from your computer.
You can emulate this feature in IMO by creating an e-mail
template and defining a rule in the Rules Wizard to auto-
reply with the template."

I have IMO, so as you said, I will have to use the Rules
Wizard.

Thank you very much,

Ana
