Pk408adeb,
First how big is the message you are trying to send? From the error message the max file size that this user can receive is 1048576 bytes. Seems like what you are trying to send is beyond that. I have read through the newsgroups and think found the explanation but if possible I would like to receive a personnalized response from one of the MVP's on this particular message so that I can forward it to my ISP. The heading of this message was just reading: From : System Administrator To: Subject: undeliverable: (subject of the original message) The following recipient(s) could not be reached: ..... My ISP says it comes from Yahoo.... ; he says that 552 5.3.4 is none of his server addresses. But it looks to me as if 552 5.3.4 is rather an error code or am I wrong? What can be done to correct the problem? Thanks a lot for your help, MVP's. Arlette |

Hi Serge,
Thanks for reacting. I checked the email and its size is 1 Mb. Most of the email addresses are with yahoo.fr which allows emails with attachments of upto 10 Mb. So I don't think this is the problem. Anyone else (maybe some MVP's coming online?????) have any idea???? Thanks in advance Arlette "Serge B" wrote: Pk408adeb, First how big is the message you are trying to send? It could be that your SMTP server won't transmit messages larger than the value in the error message. WHat do you use for an SMTP server? -- Brian Tillman |
