I need to convert Visio 2003 files to Visio 2002, can this be done

I have several files a former employee created in Visio 2003, I only have
Visio 2002 available, can these files be converted backwards???

File Save As, then choose Visio 2002 whatever from the lower drop-down
list.

I believe the files will "round trip" back to 2003.

The file format for 2002 contained enough place-holders for information that
was predicted to be needed for 2003. So 2003 writes a 2002 file with extra
info. 2002 reads the file, but doesn't know what to do with some of the
information and simply ignores it.
