The A1 row in my worksheet is not visible and I can't find
a way to display it. Following help, I went to Edit/Go
To/"A1" then Format/Row/Unhide or Height = 13 but it still
isn't visible. Help!

Hi
click on the small box above the row numbers, left to the column
headings to select your entire spreadsheet
Now goto 'Format - Rows - Unhide'

Hi
then try setting the row-height to a fixed valued (maybe row 1 is just
very small)

I suspect that's the case but I thought that
Edit/GoTo/"A1" then Format/Row/Height/"12.35" was doing
that but I must be missing something. #*&%^%

CS,

Put the mouse pointer over the 1 box in the row header at the left. Drag
upwards to the Select All box immediately above it. Format - Row - Unhide.

Alternatively, put the mouse pointer in the 1 box and move upwards just
until your mouse pointer becomes two horizontal lines with vertical arrows.
Press and drag downwards, peeling row 1 away and increasing its height.

Any chance you have freeze panes turned on.

Window|Unfreeze panes

Thanks folks. Using Freeze/Unfreeze finally brought the
field back.
