Default Excel charting label assistance (Sydney Australia)

I need personal help with a simple Excel X/Y graph for one particular file.
The data and graph plots a single patient's blood test results over time and
I want to mark and label milestones along the way.

In spite of many hours of Google research I have not been able to
satisfactorily resolve my issues.

I don't think that what I need is very hard (it eludes me) but the solution
probably needs the services of a person who is well versed in the Graph
functions (particularly labels). An Excel Graph expert in Sydney or
Australia would probably be more appropriate but I'm not adverse to experts
from other areas.

I propose to make a $A50 donation to the Australian Breast Cancer Foundation
as a payment for the advice given but will consider other compensation if
needed.

Please contact me for further information and nominate a mechanism for me to
make the data file available for study.

You can mail me the chart if you want to.

I have time today (May 23rd) to give you a reply as to whether I can help or
not.

Hi,

Have a look at this example.
http://www.andypope.info/ngs/ng47.htm

You will find Rob Bovey's free addin useful for linking data labels to
cell text if the chart is a true xy-scatter.

Cheers

Hi

Thank you for answering. Andy, that's EXACTLY what I wanted. I will look
closely at the method and see if I have sufficient understanding to implement
the solution.

I will today make the donation to the Breast Cancer Foundation as promised.

Best regards from Down Under (Sydney, Australia)
