Default length of curve

hopefully its there and I can't see it, but just can't seem to find a way to
draw a curved line of a fixed length. I measured a curved counter and want
to draw it, know the length of the curve, sides etc., just can't figure out
how....even faking it. Any hints?

thanks,

Larry

In V2007, Tools Add-ons Measure Add on, will compute the length of a
line, curved, straight, or whatever. If it's an enclosed shape, it will give
the perimenter and area. There's a similar utility in V2003, but I'm not
sure if it works on lines.

don't have a "Measure Add on". Do have a shaper area and permiter addon, but
not sure if the calc is accurate. Seems like a significant oversight if I
want to draw a curved line of a certain length.
