Default DDE links and long Calculations (Please Help)

Hi,

We are developing a Stock trading VBA Excel application for a client. The
client has an Excel workbook that contains a number of DDE links. The
workbook also contains a large number of worksheets and data which causes
the calculation time to take at least few seconds. My question is if the
Excel workbook is performing a lengthy calculation and during that time the
DDE server attempts to update the links in the workbook then would the DDE
updates get queued up until the calculation terminates or would they go
through? Or would the DDE updates get dropped by Excel? Your help would be
appreciated

Thanx

Taher

As far as I know the calculation would be interrupted.
It is certainly interrupted by user activity at the keyboard.
