our original cd is corrupted - we have re-install after a restore our system
- how does one obtain or download this software from microsoft

You can't - Microsoft does not offer any of its Office software for
download. Since Office XP SBE is only available via OEM installation, you
will need to contact your computer manufacturer to obtain a replacement.
Microsoft provides no support for OEM software - all support is up to the
manufacturer.
