Default Outlook 2003 unable to set up pop

I am trying to set up a pop account on a pc that has
outlook 2003 configured to use exchange. When I try to
create a new mail account all options, except exchange, are
greyed out. This also happens if I try to set up a new
profile. I no longer need exchange on the pc (it's not my
PC so I don't know how it was set up originally).

Any help greatly appreciated.

It sounds as though the machine was set up using a policy that excludes the
other account types. If the machine belongs to a company, you should probably
ask the IT department there to change that.
