How to close all the (Word) documents
at ones (and also the other programes which are opend), so that I can see my
desktop. I know that there is an quick botton (with the keyboard) for it.. but I don't know which. Anyone? |

I suspect you mean "minimize" instead of "close". If you just want to see the desktop without completely stopping Word, press one of the "flying windows" keys and the D key together; or click the desktop icon in the taskbar next to the Start button. That will reduce all open windows to the taskbar buttons. WinKey*+M will minimize all windows. WinKey+D is better, though, because it
goes direct to the desktop *and* is a toggle (that is, when you press it again, it restores all your windows just as they were before. *WinKey = the key to the left of ALT and spacebar or to the right of ALT and spacebar, both with a Windows logo. Also, you may have a Desktop QuickLaunch shortcut (I do in Windows 2000). -- Suzanne S.
