Default Help - where is mail saved? - need to retrieve from dead computer

I have a problem - my computer died, but the HD luckily is alive. I hooked
it up to a 2nd computer & retrieved most of my files. But I can't find
where all my mail is saved to.

I have figured out the address book file & found that. But where is the old
mail saved to? Nothing in Doc & Setting looks familiar .... There is prob
some weird name OE is using to save the files, anyone knows?

BTW I am using OE 6.0.

Thanks in advance

ToolsOptionsMaintenanceStore folder will reveal the location
of your Outlook Express files. Press the Tab key to highlight the
folder location, then Ctrl+C. Close OE, then StartRunCtrl+V will
put the location in the box - Click OK and you'll see the OE files.
Otherwise, write the location down and navigate to it in Windows
Explorer.

In WindowsXP, the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default
marked as hidden. To view these files in Explorer, you must enable
Show Hidden Files and Folders under StartControl PanelFolder
OptionsView.

If it's in OE, this is where it is. But you might want to look at
this freebie tool:

If you are able to open OE place you mouse on the inbox right click and
there it is the location. lick on it right click select all, right click
again copy. Open notepad and paste contents there it should look more or
less like this
\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application
Data\Identities\{7033D11E-B568-4D52-8631-4F9FCD173B5A}\Microsoft\Outlook
Express\Inbox.dbx

Take Inbox.dbx out copy all and go start/run paste enter. The folder will
open
