Upgrading from 2002 to 2003
I am upgrading from Outlook 2002 to Outlook 2003 on the same machine. Is there a way to transfer all of the emails, contacts and calendar items from Outlook 2002 to Outlook 2003 on the same machine? Thanx.

What do you mean by "upgrade?" Outlook does not support installing one
version over another. You must install Outlook clean and use the supported methods for migrating Outlook data. They are posted here daily. -- Russ Valentine "Jeff Carpenter" jeffcarpenter1[at]comcast[dot]net wrote in message ... I am upgrading from Outlook 2002 to Outlook 2003 on the same machine. Upgrading from 2002 to 2003
Can i just install Outlook 2003 and import the existing .pst file without deleting Outlook 2002. I want to set up Outlook 2003 before I delete Outlook 2002 just in case it doesn't work..

No. Nor would you ever use Import to transfer Outlook data.
