Default Same Visio file - Shapes window appears but shapes do not

I've been working on the same Visio file for weeks, renaming it when I'm done
each day. The next day when I re-open it for my day's work, the Shapes
window appears but my Shapes do not. Mildly annoying that I need to
re-select them each morning.

I'm nearly certain the Shapes "stuck" with the file when I first starting
working with it. Is there some switch I turned off by mistake?

Thanks for the reply - I wasn't aware of Workspaces.

Note for anyone with the same issue - the "Save Workspace" option is next to
the Save button, a little challenging to find on the dialogue box.

I've seen and used software where there is a hidden area to click on
an image to get into special "secret" menu. Someone didn't try hard
enough! :-)
