Visio 2003 SP2 - Database monitor
I am linking shapes to a database.
everything works ok except the auto-refresh option to periodically refresh shape properties from the database. You can set a refresh interval but it seems to be ignored. If you refresh manually it works fine. Any thoughts? - Looks like a bug. |

Automatic Refresh of Shapes linked to Access Database inVisio 2003
I am doing the same thing using the Database Wizard Add-On in Visio 2003. I can link to the query just fine that provides the data I need to show in the custome properties on my Visio Shapes. But there doesn't seem to be any way for me to automatically update the shape information changes from the database. Right now I have to individually right click on each shape and select "Refresh Shape Properties" for the information to update. Any help? Can this be automated using VBA code?
