Default Remove Wave File from presentation

I am trying to remove sound that i have added....I have removed the sound from the slides, but the wave songs still show in my sound options under slide transition....I need to remove them entirely because they make the size of the file way toooo big. I am using 2000.

First, make the setup changes suggested he

Do this before using PowerPoint seriously

Then open and resave your presentation under a new name.
