Default Splash Screen

My husband set up my laptop and spelled my name wrong. It
os driving me crazy to see it that way every time on the
splash screen. How do I change it?

I checked the knowledge base and it says to look for the
maintenance wizard. However when I did a search for it- I
could not locate it on the Hard drive nor on the Dell CD
that came with the computer. Any ideas?

If you have Office XP or Office 2003, you can change the user name
information in Excel, PowerPoint, or Word, and changing the user name in one
of these programs will change it for the other Office programs. To change the
user name information, follow these steps.

In Microsoft Excel
1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
2. Click the General tab.
3. Type the user name information in the User Name box.
4. Click OK.

In Microsoft PowerPoint
1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
2. Click the General tab.
3. Type the user name information in the Name box.
4. Click OK.

In Microsoft Word
1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
2. Click the User Information tab.
3. Type the user name information in the Name box.
4. Click OK.
