Default Microsoft Word Poster Printing

I've done this in the past in Word, but for the life of me, I can't remember
how I did it. How or where do you set things up to print out a normal size
creation to multiple pages and cut them up and tape them together.

Not an option in Word. Your printer driver may offer such an
option though, depending on the brand and model of printer you
have... look in File | Print | Properties.
