Default Powerpoint 2007 & Page Numbers

I am trying to print page numbers on my presentation. I am using PPT 2007. I
have tried adding the page numbers to the Master Layout, but nothing happens.

When I print, I print the slides, not notes.

Can you print page numbers on slides in PPT 2007?

Thank you,

Andrea

Andrea,
On the Insert tab of the ribbon, in the text group, click on the Header and
footer button.
Put a check next to slide number, click on Apply to all.
Does this help?

Andrea,
There is nothing covering it up by any chance. Or you are using the Title
slide layout and have checked 'Don't show on title slide' in the header and
footer dialogue.

Pinecrest,
Hmm, maybe you applied the slide numbers to the first three slides
individually. For example you select the first four slides and click on
Headers and footers button, click the box to number and hit Apply. Another
thing that could happen, you can easily have one slide design without
numbers in PPT 2007. You can remove the numbering individually from each
slide design.
Or you have two masters in the presentation, and have one of them with no
numbers.
