grayscale chosen, prints only in color--Pub 2007
I am so confused. If I use a program other than PUblisher to convert a file
to pdf, I get a greyscale file, just like I want. But if I use Pub to convert to pdf, I always get a file that prints out in a shade of green-blue. I do not understand the color choices in design checker, and I have searched the Pub help files--and, as usual come up with no help from Help!! My doc starts out saying it is in RGB mode. The commercial printing design check tells me I need to change this. All the images and text in my doc are grayscale from the get-go. I chose spot color, and I get this blue-green doc. Yet it shows me all these "tints" of black, yet the "spot" to the right on this dialog box shows up blue. Where in the heck does MS tell you what all these things mean and what you need to choose. And how do I keep this doc as greyscale. Thanks. |

Choose Single Color, on the Inks tab it should show black "in use" and next
to that Spot color 1: Black if it doesnt use the drop down (mouse over the Spot Color 1) to select Black - you'll get a warning that Pub will convert your document. -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rob Giordano Microsoft MVP Expression "lindalou" wrote in message ... |I am so confused. I think the problem was that I have to choose grayscale on my printer. The
spot color was selected as black, and your explanation helped me figure this out.
