Default custom page size

would like to print receipts that are 5.5 high by 8.5 wide on dot matrix
using ncr paper. Found the printer... found the paper. but can't find a way
to set the page size. Using Access 2007. Help!!!

You may be able to set a custom page size through the printer driver. Some
old dot matrix printers had drivers that did that.

But 5.5" is half of an 11" page? Could you just set it for 11" paper, and
then make the report fit 2-up on the page?

Thought about that... printer driver doesn't appear to have custom setting.
2-up would be good but we're checking in on client at a time.

You're right about older combinations. I was able to do this with an older
epson (current is also epson)... was also using access 97 at the time. Rats!

I didn't follow why 2 records per 11" page would not work?

You just size your detail section so it fits 2 on a page (after subtracting
the top and bottom margins.)

If you are printing on pre-printed form, the only practical difficulty is
spacing the 2 records equally if your driver does not support zero top and
bottom margins. There is a way to do that with a faux-group footer, as
