Default chart using query with between

Hello,

I create a report with 3 charts in it. All works fine!

Now I need to give the user the ability to control the start and end date to
collect data for the chart. So I simply added a between criteria on the
relevant field. I checked the query and it returns the proper result, but
when I try to open the report I get an error

The microsoft jet database engine does not recognize the 'Forms!...' as a
valid field name or expression.

They query does, why is the report then spitting out this error?

Help?

Thank you,

QB
