Default publisher to pdf - black tables

When I export a publisher file to pdf, sometimes some of the tables go black
and are unreadable.

Can anyone tell me why this happens? Or how to stop it from happening?

What version Publisher?
If you select the PDF printer before opening the publication do you still get
the problem? Is your regular printer driver current?

If you use Microsoft's save as PDF, (must have Publisher 2007) does it still
happen?
