Default Export Shared Calendar to CSV

Hi,

Using: Microsoft Outlook 2003, Exchange 2003

I am trying to export appointment information from a shared calendar to
a CSV file. For some reason when I open the shared calendar, I cannot do
an export from the file menu.

The shared calendar is a Meeting Room, I actually need to export 10
different rooms, so if anyone knows how I can do this automatically,
that would be awesome

Any ideas?

Thanks

Switch to the By Category view (or any other table view) and copy all the
items to a blank calendar folder in your mailbox. You can then export from
the folder that holds the copies.

Nice suggestion, although I had already worked a solution.

Open the shared calendar, use a custom view to show the entries in a
table (in this case I also wanted to have only entries after a certain
date). Then select all the entries in the table list, then choose "Edit"
from the menu then "Copy". Now go to Excel (or your favorite spreadsheet
application) and paste your copied data. This should paste the table
format into the spreadsheet, and then I can save the spreadsheet as a CSV.

The problem is that I have 10 shared calendars that I want to export
(all meeting rooms) so with either process, it is time consuming. I was
hoping that there was a plug-in or something that would enable me to
export the calendar, or if there is a 3rd party shared calendar viewer
that can also export.

Thanks Sue, but I'm not any closer.

Copy and paste to Excel is a favorite of mine, too. It just can't handle the
full body of the appointment. There are third-party export tools at
