Bind Left Margin for Printing
We have 8.5 X 11" posters that were created using regular PPT slides and were
set up using portait orientation. We need to print the poster along with other meeting documents (non PowerPoint items) in one packet. The left margin for the entire PPT poster (not just text place holders) has to be set at 1.25". I can't find anyway to do that in the application. I went under print properties, selected book layout and left binding but it only places ..5" left margin with no way to change it. Anyone have any ideas??? |

You could always save your slides as images, then insert those into a
document where you can set the margins you need -- Michael Koerner MS MVP - PowerPoint "Roxy" wrote in message ... Anyone have any ideas??? Powerpoint doesn't use margins, so there's no way to set them. But you can use File, Page Setup to set your slide size to 8.5x11 then design your slides so that nothing falls outside the margin (and even create a background/master with a white margin if you like). Then print w/ "Scale to fit paper" UNchecked. Should work out just fine. ----------------------------------------- Steve Rindsberg, PPT MVP PPT FAQ: www.pptfaq.com PPTools: www.pptools.com ================================================ |
