Office XP Product Key won't work
I am trying to install Office XP in a new computer running Windows Vista. The
message says that my product key is invalid. I have tried it several times with the same result. I would appreciate suggestions. |

Did you purchase that copy of Office with a different computer or did you
purchase it separately? -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] Tech Editor for "Microsoft Publisher 2007 For Dummies" "Fred S" wrote in message ... Office XP Product Key won't work
It was purchased separately and was used up to Feb 2007. At that time I
purchased Office 2007 which I installed after removing Office XP. Now I tried to install XP in a new computer and the key comes up invalid. I tried it 3 times just in case but the result was the same. Any other
suggestion will be appreciated. "JoAnn Paules" wrote: Are you *positive* you are entering the numbers/letters correctly? Do you have more than one Office edition/version on your computer? Including
trial versions. -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] Tech Editor for "Microsoft Publisher 2007 For Dummies" "Fred S" wrote in message ... Yes, it's a new PC with a trial of Office 2007 which is not yet activated. In
the meantime I was able to install Office 200, but do you think that if I remove the trial version of 2007 it will solve the problem? Dump both versions, install the paid version, activate it.
