Default rotated image corruption in poster print

I have image corruption when printing a rotated image in poster format.

A rotated image that crosses a page boundary, top to bottom page, is
corrupted on the bottom page. It prints as a straightened shape outline, with
image pixels being extended to the square outline of the image, i.e. printed
as lines.

I am using Publisher 2003, and tried this in 2010 beta on a different
computer. It's still printed wrong. I have tried Epson R300 and HP K550
printers, and both print incorrectly.

This seems a basic problem, so I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong!

Can you convert the poster to a PDF? The beta should have the "save as PDF".
When you view it after the conversion is the image correct?
What format is the picture?

For testing purposes, I tried BMP and JPG images. They both show the problem.
Try an A2 poster size, set to landscape so the publication takes 4 sheets of
A4, then add a picture that crosses the top left and bottom left pages.

Through Epson and HP printer drivers the bottom page image is corrupted.

Normal print preview is correct. The print driver print preview shows a
corrupted page.

I tried 2010 beta with save as PDF. I set the options to create 4 sheets of
A4, and all pages are correct!
