Outlook 2003 Internet Fax Issues
Hello,
My name is Russenia Dominguez. I’m a customer support representative for Venali, Inc. Our team is currently facing an issue with two customers that are having troubles with using the internet fax application in Outlook 2003. When using the ‘Custom’ option for a cover page, the user had his/her own cover template and can add his/her company logo. When the email2fax message is sent, the email is converted to a tiff with the MODI printer driver and sent to our IP messaging system. However, when we check the sent items folder, the message contains the following attachments. These a The copy of the custom cover template on the body of the internet fax message created by MODI (FaxImage.tif). The image.jpg file, which is the logo on the custom cover template. On the body of the email, the coverpage template. So, the email within the sent items folder would look as follows: I can provide you with the Mime headers and the original email if you would like, but I don't see any option that allows me to attach any documents. Here are his version/build/OS, details. “This is not a TS environment. It's Windows XP SP2 applied with Outlook 2003 SP2 (build 11.6568.6568). I was using the File, New, internet fax option to create the mail.” Please help and advise if you need additional information. Sincerely, Russenia D. Venali Support Team |

Outlook 2003 Internet Fax Issues
Unless a graphic is attached to the special Outlook Form designed to
transmit fax requests to Venali, it will not be rendered by MODI. Accordingly, a graphic embedded in a custom cover page cannot be rendered correctly unless you implement something at your end to do so. User would do well to skip the graphic or use MODI to create a custom cover page that consists of a single TIF file. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Russenia" wrote in message ...
